Agapanthus, also known as Lily of the Nile, is a striking and unique flower that adds a structural and graceful element in both traditional and contemporary floral designs. Agapanthus is a tall flower, with a large head of trumpet shaped blue/purple or white florets atop strong stems. Agapanthus can be used singly in bud vases, clustered in groups for a clean, modern feel, or it blends very well with hydrangeas, roses and delphinium in traditional arrangements. Agapanthus are generally available from the Spring through the Fall. Cut flowers last 6-8 days with proper care.
